GPOYW - “I’m getting really f’n sick of this place” edition. I’m talking about work of course, not Tumblr… Just when it looked like some of the positions I was covering for were beginning to get filled, and I might get to actually take some of the 200+ hours of vacation time I have stored-up, they had to go and fire the office manager at our largest program… And just guess *who* had to pickup their workload, on top of all the other jobs I was already doing! (Ugh!) Sorry I haven’t had much Tumblr-time lately (and when I have had a few minutes, I haven’t been able to actually get myself to write anything)… I probably should’ve held up something with today’s date on it, so you could use this as a “proof of life” photo as well!

GPOYW: ”Worst Fucking Day…EVER!” edition [NO Filters & NO Smiles] Here’s how I look in the aftermath of one of the worst days I’ve ever experienced… Work sucked; I covered for four other people’s jobs today *besides* my own, and one of those people ended-up getting themselves fired, so I’ll be having most of their work (that they were already VERY behind on) added to mine for the foreseeable future. [A.K.A.- I can cancel any vacation plans I had for the next couple of months. Ugh!] Plus, in addition to the work bullshit, I think what little personal life I had just blew up between last night and this morning, and the *one* person in the entire world that I really want to talk to, the one person who can always make me feel better, doesn’t seem to want to talk to me anymore… So not very much is going right currently. :(

How is it that I seem to have *less* time for Tumblr when I take a day off from work??!!

…Seriously, it makes absolutely NO sense! 

I feel like I’ve missed the majority of my dash over the past two days, so I hope I haven’t missed anything too important, because at this point I’m sure I’ll never catch up! 

Also: Because I loved how well that first Mugshot Monday photo came out once I finally saw it larger on my laptop (and because I’m extremely unhappy with the Moon pics I attempted to take earlier tonight), I’ve decided to make it my Project 365 post for today.

I think it’s a very fitting choice because today was really all about me taking a rare day-off from work, and actually relaxing & enjoying my day. - And I was very proud of myself because I didn’t check my work email or voicemail even once! *This* is huge progress for me!

Truthful Tuesday: Somebody (*cough* me *cough*) really NEEDS to start taking some time-off from work!

Hmm, and I wonder why I’ve been so burnt-out and grumpy lately…

Yes, these are the time-off hours I already have *earned* currently.  The sick-time is frozen at it’s max, and won’t accrue anymore until I actually use some of it, and the vacation-time is about two weeks away from hitting it’s 200-hour cap.  

…Okay, so which one of you wants to come up to Connecticut & cover for me so I can actually TAKE some of this time?!!
