My friend Sara has hit a bit of a rough patch.
Nothing she isn’t completely kick ass enough to get out of, but sometimes we suffer silently, way longer than we need to, because our pride just won’t let us ask for help.
She didn’t have to.
And, When you have friends and family as awesome as we all are…she SHOULDN’T have to.

So I don’t flood your dashes, here are the rest of my pics from Saturday night. Some with me in them, and some that I took… I think a couple of these may have been posted by others already.
- I was so happy that jamarcucci was able to make it there! - She is so funny in person, and I still crack up when I think of the “Tumblr Calendar” poses she was doing (with animal-hat on, of course!) - I wish I had gotten a shot of that pose!
- Marienotmaria is absolutely adorable in person, and so full of energy! - Also, she’s an incredible hugger! :D
- I think Sara may have posted this one already, but I love Amanda’s face in this pic, and you can never have enough of either one of these awesome women on your page!
- Ahh, sweetheatherbee… the only person I received an ass-slapping from the entire weekend. Full of energy, fun, & of course vodka-soaked Gummi Bears!
- I love this shot of Michele & Phunny. These two women are Fucking AWESOME! - I love you both, and you can “suck my power” again anytime! […WHAT?! - I’m talking about the portable battery-operated iPhone charger I brought with me, and let them use that night! - Get your minds out of the gutter! :P hehe]
- OMG, Tara!!! I want to walk around everywhere with Tara next to me- she made me feel so tall! I wish someone had gotten a shot when I had her on one side of me, & Shira on the other… I finally felt super-tall in that moment! - Tara was one of the people I was really looking forward to meeting, and I so wish we had more time to talk & hang out this weekend.
- And finally the wonderful, sweet Tracey. We have even better photos taken together, but I think they’re all on Patrick’s phone. She was another person I was dying to meet, and she’s so much fun in person! (…And please, no apology kik’s are necessary! - At my height, “boobs-in-the-face” just happen sometimes!)
And yes, I realize that I have the same huge smile on my face in *every* photo from Friday & Saturday nights… My face still hurts from smiling so damn much!
Seriously, I don’t think I’ve ever smiled as much, or have been hugged as much (by soooo many different people) as I was between those two nights… Just an absolutely incredible weekend!

Everything since breakfast has been crazy… So apparently, while I was at breakfast the hotel deactivated my room key early, so when I went up to grab my stuff before checking out I was completely locked out of my room! :(
By the time I went back and forth between the 11th floor & Lobby (and had to wait in line), was already running late and though I checked out on time, I just barely missed my train with Sara & Stephanie already on it! :(
I’m currently on the next train (an hour later), and would like to publicly apologize to both of them for having to wait an extra hour for me at the train station - I feel absolutely horrible right now, and been beating myself up about it ever since 12:09 when I got to the track and saw it was empty.
Sara, you are an angel for waiting for me, and I truly can’t thank you enough! - I know you’re absolutely pissed at me right now, and I deserve it… I am an idiot for screwing this up!
There will be much groveling *ON MY KNEES* when I reach the station! Please, please, please forgive me!

I missed a lot here yesterday being busy running errands, doing laundry, packing, etc. in preparation for this weekend in NYC. - I’ve also been trying to write this post since last night! I think it’s fitting that this 4,000th post comes at Snark-time, and I’ll finally be able to meet many of you in-person for the first time (….and I truly wish there were so many more of you going!)
And now the obligatory bullets…
- I’ve been booked for the hotel since November 1st, and I can’t believe the day is finally here!
- Let me get this out of the way right now, so none of you are disappointed when you meet me: I’m SHORT… Like really F’n short! [5’ 4”] - I just wanted to get that out now, so there’s no surprises when you meet me!
- Late this afternoon I’ll be roadtrippin’ to NYC with impeccablepeccadillo and sparkgrrl658. We’ll be getting a bit of a late start, and probably won’t actually get into the city until after the “pre-game” festivities have already begun at SNAFU - But we’ll be there right after I get checked in at the hotel.
- Because of our previous bad luck from the last time Sara picked me up, I’ve already picked up jumper cables for our trip, as I promised I would! :P (You can really never be too prepared!)
- I still have no idea what I’ll be doing between tomorrow’s Snark breakfast at Big Daddy’s & the “Main Event” tomorrow night at Blackstone’s. I’m totally just going to relax & go with the flow this weekend, and probably just see what everyone else wants to do.
- If you want to reach me to meetup at some point, and don’t already have me in your Kik, I’m simply: “robgraham” - Yeah, I’ve never been one to use aliases (…Plus, this’ll count for yesterday’s First Name meme).
- Since this is also post #4,000, I’d also like to thank so many of you who have been with me for almost two years here. - I truly wish I could meet & hug ALL of you this weekend!
- And for those of you who can’t make it to NYC this weekend, I still hope that we’ll find a way to meet in-person some day.
