More photos from yesterday… Here are the shots from the footbridge that I mentioned in yesterday’s post.

The first two pics are from each side of the bridge, featuring the train tracks underneath [I just had to make sure I took some photos of *Tracks!* for Dana!]

The middle photo is a nice sky shot from the top of the bridge, while heading back down to the Main St. side of it.

The last two pics are actually the views facing each other: the first one is a shot of the backside of some of the buildings from the Main Street photo I posted earlier, including the entrance of my record store… And the last shot is my view of the bridge while standing in front of that very same record store entrance.

Here’s one of the photos I took yesterday, I meant to post them last night but never got around to it* once I got my laptop back. (*- I ended-up falling asleep in my recliner before I had a chance to post them!)
This is a shot of our lower Main Street area, which has recently been going through a fairly impressive renovation, and is beginning to bring many great new small businesses into the area; including the Gourmet Cupcake shop I’m always gushing about, plus our awesome new record store which just opened a few months ago. (The record store is somewhat hidden, it’s down the alley seen here covered by the flowery arch.)

I took this on my way home from work earlier… Is it just me, or do dark clouds always look so much more ominous when they’re hovering over a church?

I just had to take a shot of this awesome scene on my way home this afternoon.
…The photobomb by the birds was just a bonus “happy accident”!

One more photo taken on my way home this afternoon… I’m simply calling this one: “Crossing Streams”. <Please, insert joke here>

March 6th, 2012: A couple of shots from my way home this afternoon. Those damn birds (in the tree in the 2nd photo) were freaking me out today. Besides congregating in that tree, there were a bunch more circling around above my neighborhood & swooping down every now & then.

Sorry I’ve been slipping so much with my Project 365, multiple “crappy weather” days in a row last week lead to way too many rainy, dreary photos that I couldn’t even get myself motivated to post.
This shot was from yesterday afternoon, I had it all set to post last night except for my write-up, but couldn’t decide if I wanted to declare the project dead or not… I think I’ll still be taking & posting photos, but because of some major changes that are about to happen in my life I’m not sure if I’ll have the time to be on here as much as I used to be.
If I can keep my eyes open much longer, I might write up my TT post to explain more about what’s been going on… I only got 3 hours of sleep last night, & have been moving furniture around & cleaning since I got out of work this afternoon, so I’m not sure how much longer I’ll be conscious!

February 29th, 2012: It would figure that the one time winter truly showed up here during the entire month of February would be on the *extra* day we get this year. I can’t really complain though, because we’ve really been lucky this year, especially compared to last year’s record snowfalls. [Plus, I’m still just happy that we didn’t have any of this snowy weather a couple of weeks ago for SnarkNYC.]

It’s been really funny seeing everyone around here completely flipping-out over a few inches of snow, it’s almost like they’ve all completely forgotten how bad last year was, when we wouldn’t even have been fazed by any storms that were less than a foot!

The first shot here are the trees next to my office building, where I’ve taken many of my favorite sunset shots, looking completely different today as I left work. The second photo is the view looking directly out from the front of my apartment building.

February 28th, 2012: The sun returned today after yesterday’s “day of clouds”. Here are a couple of shots from my way home this evening. The first photo was taken down the road from where I work, and the second is the sunset over my apartment building just as I was arriving home earlier tonight.

I figured I should try to enjoy the sun while I could today, because winter weather is supposed to be returning here tomorrow, in the form of a “special” Leap Day snowstorm.
